My after reading review (November 29, 2022):- Recently, I am trying to learn order flow, volume profile etc. for market analysis. This type of analysis is totally new to me. Previously I knew only fundamental analysis and technical analysis. Fundamental analysis is good for long term investing, what I don't do right now. And I didn't find technical analysis any helpful for me to predict the market. So, I move on to a different kind of market analysis, hoping that it may work for me.

To learn volume profile, order flow chart, depth of market etc. I am continuously spending my time on different online video courses and on different books. I read this book hoping that I could learn some valuable stuff from it. But unfortunately I didn't get anything helpful from this book except some new terminologies and a few basic concepts about volume profile.

I am not sure if my brain is not smart enough to learn the topic or if the book is not so well written. Also the author is trying to sell some of his additional courses and his own software applications in this book here and there. The book is not for any general charting software of your choice. The author is trying to push you to buy his charting software subscription plan. He is also mentioning that to get in depth knowledge you need to purchase his additional hidden video courses. That means the book is not in depth. The book didn't cover everything you need to know to start your trading.

That means I have to find other books and more online courses to master the skill.

My after reading review (November 10, 2022):- I am shocked that there are not many books on boxing training. It's not that boxing is a new sport that is not so popular. But still you wouldn't find any good boxing learning books. Most of them are about boxing, history of boxing, boxing encyclopedia, biography and advice of some famous boxers etc. And not a single book is going to help you to practice boxing.

Anyhow, I have got this book called "boxing mastery" written by Mark Hatmaker. I can't say it's a great book but where there is no book, getting a book like that is okay.

This is not a complete book. It's a part of the author's boxing books series. This part basically covers strikes and defense mechanisms. To learn counter strikes and other stuff you need to read his other book of this series.

The book starts with basics of stances, footwork and guards as it should be. It also covers variations of punches and defensive mechanisms.

However, the best part of reading this book is that I had so many confusions about so many concepts. The book helps me to get rid of those confusions. Those are basically - hinge principle, fainting, drawing, pivoting and waltzing, shifting, shuffling, infighting and shelling up, clinching etc.

My after reading review (October 18, 2022):- I was searching for profitable technical analysis strategies on youtube and accidently ended up with some new topics (or at least new to me) like order flow analysis, institutional trading, volume profile etc. I never heard of those terms before. So I start digging deeper into those things. And what I found totally surprised me. I was shocked to know that technical analysis is totally a scam. It is used only by retail traders to lose their money. Well that makes sense though, because I am trading for years using technical analysis and I haven't made a single dime from it. I only lost money till now.

The major problem of technical indicators is they are all lagging indicators. They are not the reason for market price movements, they are the effects of price movement. That means it appears the way it is shown on the chart after the particular movement of the market. Which is too late to predict the future moves.

So to learn the new way of trading analysis, I collect some books on this topic. The reason to choose this book to read first is that it's brief, which is good for beginners. Though the book didn't help me to clear most of the concepts. I just got familiar with some new terminology that I didn't hear before. Also the book is not too practical. So I need to read more books on that to clear those concepts.
The book covers some major topics -
1. Volume Profile
2. Market Profile
3. Order Flow Analysis
     a. DOM
     b. Footprints
     c. Delta

[Book 68] Jiu-Jitsu University by Saulo Ribeiro with Kevin Howell

Book:- Jiu-Jitsu University

Author:- Saulo Ribeiro with Kevin Howell

Language:- English

Publisher:- Victory Belt Publishing

Published on:- 17 November 2008

No. of Pages:- 368

My after reading review (July 10, 2022):- As a mixed martial art student I must learn and master ground fight as well as striking. To get stronger and superior you must know grappling better. I had so many confusions and doubts about grappling. To clear most of those doubts I bought this "Jiu Jitsu University" book.

Also I am a theoretical learner. So without knowing the theory I can't do practical parts, though I do practice but most of the concepts go ahead of my head. Even if I am able to understand some methods and strategies of this game, I forgot in a few days very quickly.

This Jiu Jitsu book is a great book to learn grappling skills. Even though the author didn't include the takedown and throw parts from the standing position. This is one of the biggest drawback of this book. You have to buy other book for takedown and throw separately.

The book contents five sections -
1. Survival
2. Escape
3. Guard
4. Guard Pass
5. Submission
Among them, author covers survival, escape and submission sections in a very shallow way. He just touches some basic topics here and there.

But, the guard and guard pass sections are covered in a very deep way. I must say this book is great for guard and guard passer. The speciallity of this book is guard and guard pass. I didn't know that there are so many other guards outside just full guard and half guard. Such as -
1. Butterfly Guard
2. Spider Guard
3. Sit Up Guard
4. Cross Grip Guard
5. Da Le Riva
6. Reverse Da Le Riva
7. X Guard
8. Inverse Guard
9. Turtle Guard
etc.

The book is also well organized and written in an easy and clear english with lots of clear colour pictures for demonstration purpose.

However only one book is not enough to learn and master any skills. We must rely on other writers' books. And lastly "Knowing knowledge is not enough, we must apply".

Thank you.

My after reading review (May 07, 2022):- As an Mixed Martial Arts learner I was finding a good complete book on MMA. I need to know the theory part also about the sport I am practicing. It good to have a clear understanding about the theory of any sport to practice it effectively. But unfortunately there is almost no good and complete book I have found in the market.
At last I find this one "The Mixed Martial Arts Handbook" by John Ritschel.

This is a good book and covers almost all topics (except a few - defence against striking, top mount and defence against top mount). I can't say it's in depth, but touches almost each topics. And the book comes with lots of clear colour pictures to demonstrate each and every moves.

The book covers standing fight, ground fight, transition between standing to ground - takedown and throw. The author also includes the overlapping areas such as stand-up grappling and striking on the ground.

There is not a single complete good book on this sport. Even this book is good but not complete. If the author would include the chapters on this three topics - defence against striking, top mount and defence against top mount, then it could be almost complete. That's the only complain I have against the author. He covers everything but why did he missed out to cover those important parts.

Whatever, overall this is great book for any MMA fighter who is practicing this sport.

Thank you.

My after reading review (February 07, 2022):- Everybody heard about data entry operator jobs. Most of then know that data entry means some typist and spreadsheet services. But, it's more than that. Data entry itself is a big umbrella. Under it, there are so many different services. Based on the working types we can divide data entry jobs into several classifications.
Such as -
1. Data Cleansing
Data Cleansing involves organizing information stored in databases so that it is accurate and up to date. Data cleansing helps with storing information in a correct way by removing inaccurate and duplicated information.  Another term for data cleansing is data scrubbing.
Tasks: CRM update, database follow up, researching information, removing duplicates, modifying information, correcting information, finding and removing errors, etc.
2. Data Processing
Data Processing means to collect and modify information in order to analyse it or use it later. Data Processing can be useful for storing information, analysing data, filtering data, reporting, etc. The main focus of data processing is to edit the data in a way that it serves a certain purpose.
Tasks: data extraction, data capturing, entering claims, accounting and figures data entry, database creating, photo or product editing, etc.
3. Data Classification
Data classification is the process of organizing the data into categories based on the properties and characteristics of the items. Data classification helps to store the information by sorting it so that it can be easily accessed and filtered. Data classification is also useful for AI and Machine learning software.
Tasks: classifying data, sorting data into categories, data tagging, data annotation, data indexing, classifying business cards, product data entry, etc.
4. Data Conversion
Data conversion, as the name suggests, is the process of converting data from one format to another. The data can be converted from a hard copy to a digital format or from a digital format to another (from .jpg to .pdf, from .pdf to .xml, etc.) Data conversion can be manual or machine assisted.
Tasks: audio transcription, photo editing, data typing, copying information from hand-written notes, capturing data from photo formats, etc.

I got curious to learn more about each tasks. So I decided to read a good book on it. But there are not much good book on this topics. Most of them are only on some limited topics, say word processing and excel spreadsheets. I wanted to know more about Data Entry. And I heard about the book called "Data Entry: Skillbuilding and Applications". This is quiet old book, published in 2004. It's little bit outdated. but I heard that this book was the best data entry book back in the day. Now the book is out of print, and considered as a rare book. It's being sold on a few online books retail stores and with much higher price than it's original MRP.
So I bought from an online store with high price. But after reading this book, I am very much disappointed. The book is outdated, that's not it's problem. The main problem with this one is, it didn't cover anything about the entire data entry umbrella except data entry clark jobs with only form filling. Data entry is way more than just form filling. Also the author didn't use any office suite softwares to demonstrate the works. They design their own software, which is not popular, not industry standard and not good at all.
Such a waste of money.

My after reading review (January 19, 2022):- Aha ! What a Beautiful book. If you are also a book lover like me, you will surely understand what I mean by a beautiful book. Ah! The feeling of touching high quality glossy paper book with hard binding, the smell of new book, pages are fully colour printed, full of attractive beautiful rich colour illustrations alongside with well designed layout. If you also have a book collection hobby then it's a must have book in your bookshelf. It will definitely increase the value of your collection.

Also I am a big fan of DK publishers books. They maintain the quality of their books.

Now come to the Chess part. It's a must have rule book for any chess player. Our main problem is, we don't get time or partners to play chess regularly. When cousins come home to visit or family and relatives gather for a holiday, only then do we play chess for fun and time passes.

Chess is full of complicated rules that after a long gap when we start playing we forgot some of the rules or get confused during a game. And we start quarreling about our different opinions on chess rules. 🤣 It happens so many times to us.

So to get rid of this problem, I decided to buy a good chess rule book. But this book is probably the best rule book in the market. Anytime we have any doubts, we open up the book and clear our confusions. It gets very handy.

The book is divided into four sections -

1. Section one is all about introducing the game of chess and starting position rules.

2. Section two contains all chess pieces and their moves rules.

3. Section three is the basics of winning your first games.

4. And in section four, some famous tricks to beat your opponent as well as how to defend yourself from your opponent's attacking moves.

Perfect, clear and easily understandable book for anyone who wants to get their hands dirty in the game of chess.
