My after reading review ( September 13, 2018):- It's been a long time since I have not done any review of school math book. Maybe because I was quiet busy. Last time I wrote a review was a 'Standard 2' math book (check this out here:- http://readingbookhobby.blogspot.com/2018/01/book-20-mathematics-today-2.html ). This time it's 'Standard 3' ICSE Indian school board math book written by O.P. Malhotra, S.K.Gupta and Anubhuti Gangal.

The reason why I am doing this because I want to modify mathematics for children education system. That's why first and foremost I need to know what they are learning, how they are learning, what authors are including in their books etc. 

In this book topics have been covered are:- 

1. 4-Digit Numbers (Counting and forming 4-digit numbers, place value and face value, comparing numbers < = > , Ascending - Descending order, Successor - Predecessor)
2. Arithmetic Operations of 4-Digit Numbers
• Addition (Without and with carry)
• Subtraction (Without and with borrow)
• Multiplication
• Division
3. Fractions
4. Applications of Arithmetic
• Measurement (Length, Weight and Capacity)
• Money
• Time
5. Geometry (Point, Line, Ray, Shapes, Solid and Symmetry)
6. Statistics (Data Handling - Tally Marks, Pictograph)

That's all about this book.Soon I am going to review other upper class math book such as 'Standard 4', 'Standard 5' etc.
